Born and raised in Munich, Philipp Manuel Rothkopf first studied psychology and computer science in Berlin, later acting at the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst »Ernst Busch« Berlin. He was a member of the ensemble at Theater Bremen and a founding member of Theater Eigenreich in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg. Along the way, he worked as a freelance actor in theater, film and television, as a speaker, coach, author, film and theater director and musician in Berlin, London, Vienna, Munich, Erlangen and Göttingen, among other places. Since 2009 he is a permanent ensemble member at the Theater Aachen and furthermore continues to work as a freelancer.
