Born in Poland, Pawel Lawreszuk initially studied trombone alongside singing in his native Poland. He was a member of the opera studio in Strasbourg and Lyon, spent a year at the Theater Passau, and has been a member of the ensemble at Theater Aachen since 2005, where he has played roles including Claudio (»Agrippina« von Händel), Sarastro (»Die Zauberflöte«), Leporello (»Don Giovanni«), Mustafa (»L'italiana in Algeri«), Dulcamara (»L'elisir d'amore«), Wurm (»Luisa Miller«), Sparafucile (»Rigoletto«), Biterol (»Tannhäuser«), Colline (»La Bohème«), Swallow (»Peter Grimes«), and Bartolo (»Le nozze di Figaro«). He sang the role of Don Bartolo (»Il barbiere di Siviglia«) in Aachen and Darmstadt, as well as Basilio at the Schlossoper Haldenstein and in the Tonhalle Zurich. He was Gremin (»Eugene Onegin«) in Warsaw and the Grand Inquisitor (»Don Carlo«) and Raimondo (»Lucia di Lammermoor«) in Passau, among other roles. In the past season 23.24, Pavel could be heard and seen in »Carmen« and »Zaïde/Adama«, among other productions.
Last season (24.25), he appeared in »Orphée aux enfers« in the role of Mars. At the start of the new season, he can be seen in »My Fair Lady« and as Sarastro in »Die Zauberflöte«, as well as in »Herzog Blaubarts Burg«.
