Marie Charlotte Vecchio

Marie Labsch, born in Berlin in 1990, studied stage and costume design with Hartmut Meyer at the Berlin University of the Arts. After completing her master's degree in 2018, she initially worked as a stage designer at Theater Konstanz under the directorship of Christoph Nix. There she worked with directors such as Mark Zurmühle, Martina Eitner-Acheapong and Ingo Putz, among others. The production »Buten vör de Döör (Outside the Door)« by Ingo Putz at the Ohnsorg Theater Hamburg, for which she designed the stage and costumes, won the Monica Bleibtreu Prize in 2018. Most recently, she took on the set design of »Der gute Gott von Manhattan« directed by Anaïs Durand-Mauptit at the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe. With »Die Kunst der Freude« she presents herself for the first time to the Aachen audience.
