Lina Oanh Nguyễn

As a freelance artist, Lina Oanh Nguyễn works primarily in stage and costume design. She studied at the Berlin University of the Arts with Hartmut Meyer and at the Eesti Kunstiakadeemia Tallinn. After her studies she assisted Stéphané Laimé. In addition, assistanceships took her to the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz, the Hamburg State Opera, the Schauspielhaus Bochum and the HAU Berlin. Her own works have been produced at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg (»The Mushroom Queen«) and Schauspiel Köln with Marie Schleef (»Once I Lived With A Stranger«), at the Staatstheater Kassel with Ariane Kareev (»Pique Dame«) and at the Saigon Opera House, Vietnam (»The Merry Widow«) with Anna Weber. Other works have been seen at Theater Lübeck, Radialsystem and Neuköllner Oper Berlin. For short films and music videos she worked together with the DffB, the MET School Berlin, independent production groups, as well as the television station Tele 5.
