Larisa Akbari

Larisa Akbari was born in Russia and studied at the Kazan State Conservatory. After a two-year engagement at the Cheboksary City Theater in Russia, she continued her training in Germany at the Cologne University of Music and Dance (Aachen campus) under Prof. Claudia Kunz-Eisenlohr and attended master classes in voice with, among others, Edita Gruberova and Luana DeVol. She made her German debut at the Schlosstheater Celle as Konstanze in 0187Die Entführung aus dem Serail«.

At Theater Aachen, she first appeared as Blonde in the same opera in 2016 and has since been a regular guest there in numerous roles through 2022. She has been a permanent member of the ensemble since the 22.23 season. Her repertoire includes, among others, Violetta (»La Traviata«), Donna Anna (»Don Giovanni«), Juliette (»Roméo et Juliette«), Fiordiligi (»Così fan tutte«), Lisa (»Pique Dame«), Gräfin (»Le nozze di Figaro«), Lina (»Stiffelio«), Musetta (»La Bohème«), Madama Cortese (»Il viaggio a Reims«), Micaëla (»Carmen«), Pamina (»Die Zauberflöte«), Euridice (»Orphée aux Enfers«), Elvira (»Ernani«), and Tatiana (»Eugene Onegin«).
