Josa Marx

Josa Marx was born in Suhl in 1985. Between 2005 and 2008, he completed his training as a ladies' tailor under the guidance of Elise Topel and then worked as an intern at Vivienne Westwood in London. He then went on to study costume design at the University of the Arts in Berlin. Since 2004 he has worked as a freelance costume and set designer at the Thalia Theater Hamburg, Theater Dortmund, Schauspiel Leipzig, HAU Berlin, Schauspielhaus Wien, Deutsches Theater Göttingen, Ballhaus Ost Berlin, Theater Bremen, Schauspiel Köln, Oper Flandern, Oper Freiburg, Staatsoper Hannover, Maxim Gorki Theater, Berlin, Berliner Ensemble. He regularly collaborates with the directors Ersan Mondtag, Lucia Bihler, Wilke Weermann, Agathe Chion, Christian Weise and Gordon Kämmerer.
