Anna Philippa Müller studied costume design at the University of the Arts in Berlin. She already designed costumes for opera productions during her studies. She has worked as a costume designer for numerous dance and independent theatre productions as well as in film, including for Luísa Saraiva, Anja Aristarkhova, Julia Turbahn, Tilman Kanitz, Niklas Draeger, Magdalena Mitterhofer, for Jan Koslowksi and Hannah Dörr. In 2020 she designed the costume design for the music theatre »Pixelsinfonie« by Michael Rauter with musicians from the soloist ensemble Kaleidoskop for the Ludwigsburg Schlossfestspiele. In 2021 she was the costume designer for Ann Oren's feature film »Piaffe«, which premiered in competition in Locarno in 2022.
